The list author says: "Fathers are notoriously difficult to shop for. If you ask them what they want you often hear the "I don't need anything so spend your money on yourself, not on me" type of reply. However, I can tell you from personal experience that when you buy your father something really cool, something that they would really like to have but would never buy for themselves, you will know that you touched him and that he feels your love (thought he would probably never say that).
Here is a short list of gifts that are sure to please. Most of these items are things that I have received from my own children or that I have given to my own father. He passed away in 2008 and my brothers made sure that I got everything back that I had given him. They are now my most prized possessions because they were his and they made him happy."
"Every man needs a good pair of binoculars and these are my favorites (although I own the 12x). The Image Stabilization feature is a big help for those who's hands aren't quite as steady as they used to be."
"I own a lot of flashlights and this one is my favorite (my son Joshua bought it for me). It may seem expensive but it can produce a tight beam of light or a flood just with a touch. You will not believe how much light this thing produces!"
