Eleven year old James "Mooch" Mucciano, (MOOCH-E-ON-O) wants a go-kart so he can beat Zilch Brady, his arch enemy, in a race on Devil's Drag strip. Having no one to buy him a kart, Mooch must find a way to overcome his lazy and selfish mooching habits to accomplish his goal.

The author, a self-described "Johnnie-Come-Lately" to the world of fiction, has combined his own style of writing with a rich imagination to complete eight juvenile and young adult action-adventure novels to date. With diversification in mind he continues to seek out and develop new plotlines in order to respond to an ever changing market.
