LOVE THIS CD!!! (Can you tell?) This is a meditation without being all "quiet" music. Her words are profoundly true and vunerable. Her style is simple without being redundant. My favorite CD of the year --
last year's fav was Bebo Norman's latest one (sorry very bad with names, but it has "I Will Lift Up My Eyes" on it).
I graduated from a music school so I am quite critical....this one's a keeper!

Bought this album for Mighty to Save, which I love, and Indescribable. I really liked Chris Tomlin's version of Indescribable, which Laura Story wrote, so I wanted to hear this version. Her version on this album is not as upbeat but more mellow. The rest of this album was a pleasant surprise as the writing is varied and great instrumentation. I really liked Grace though the entire album is quite nice.

Laura has authored many of the worship songs we hear popular Christian contemporary musicians singing today, so to hear her perform them herself is a fulfilling experience. Every time I play this CD and allow the words and rich melodies to soak into my soul, I feel like my head is laying right on Jesus' breast. I highly recommend this CD to anyone seeking a musical experience that warmly welcomes them into the presence of the Lord.

Great God Who Saves is a very down to earth album, from a very down to earth singer. This album is very simplistic, but a refreshing twist on contemporary pop. I recommend this album to anyone who is a fan of Rebecca St James or simply a fan of contemporary christian music.

I came upon Laura Story on the [...] website and was amazed at her voice in all her songs especially the song Indescribable. I watched all of Lauras videos with her talking about her life and was very touched. God has opened my heart to christian music and everyday i play her songs. They give Great glory to God and i hope many more Cd's are to come.

I never EVER listen to a whole album, much less all the way through in succession but this album is the exception to that rule in my life. Every single song on this album is beautiful, honest, uplifting, praising and singable. It's solid, personal, GORGEOUS worship.

Even as a fundamentalist I have to give this CD 5 Stars!! The music is excellent, the words are Biblically accurate(gasp!), have depth(huh?) and are doctrinally sound!(unbelievable!!) Quite a rarity in today's self absorbed, name it and claim it, happy time, ecunemical, nonconfrontational, "emerging", Laodician church!!!!!

I wasn't expecting our youth group to take to this album as they did. I expected our mommas of the church to love it (which they did). Yet, from time to time, I see one of our teens reaching for this to add to the playlist. With favorites like "Mighty to Save" and "Indescribable" I shouldn't have been surprised. Great album!

Laura Story is a powerful songwriter and singer. Her music has depth and lifts your spirit. This album is one of my favorites. You will not get tired of listening to it over and over.

My favorite song on this album is "Grace". This song is the story of my life in so many ways. Each time I hear it, I am amazed that God loves me so much. I praise God for the grace He has extended to me each day.

I also love "Perfect Peace." For anyone going through a valley, a trial, a death of a loved one, this song will bless your heart.

"Indescribable" speaks of how God's creation wows the human heart and makes us want to worship Him. "Bless the Lord" is a wonderful worship song encouraging us to praise God through all of life's ups and downs. "Mighty to Save" is a pretty popular worship song.

Laura is an outstanding song writer and singer. Everything that she has done has moved me, inspired me and encouraged me in my Christian life.
