This is an easy-to-read combination travelogue and history, that I found irresistable. Each brief entry tells us something new and fascinating about famous, as well as well as less known but fascinating people buried in upsate New York. I started by reading stories about some of the people I knew of and ended reading the whole book.
Anyone planning in a trip to upstate NY should buy this book and make some of these gravesites part of your tour. You will see and learn about a whole new aspect of the state.
