From the Author
I wrote "The Great Grocery Giveaway" with the hopes that beginners and advanced couponers alike would benefit not only from the instructions therein but also from the personal experiences, shopping, organizing, and time saving tips shared with me by seminar attendees, letters, and phone calls. After it came to my attention that a reader was unhappy with the purchase of my book, (see review), I tried several times to make contact and offer a refund of the purchase price. My last attempt was to mail a refund which was returned to me "refused". While even the most advanced couponers and refunders enjoy sharing and learning new tips, I regret that my book was not more helpful to her. In further response to her misunderstanding of working mothers versus stay at home mothers - I do encourage women who desire AND have the opportunity to so - to look at the total cost of working, versus cutting costs with a variety of means including couponing to assist the family in living on one income. In each unique situation, nearly all shoppers can save 30% on their grocery bill with just a few basic shopping organization and planning skills.
