What a great purchase! This book is definely worth the money I paid for it. After receiving my book two days ago, I sat down to read what I expected would be a wordy run around description of what I already knew about couponing. Boy, was I wrong. Klaproth taught me to take not only what I knew about couponing, but also about grocery shopping in general to take my grocery shopping to a level of maximum savings. With a limited amount of coupons, and a half hearted attempt at a weekly food menu, I purchased about $170 worth of groceries (my usual weekly expenditure) and only paid $100 for them. I saved $70 without really trying! I can't wait until next week to see how much I save. I am totally convinced there is definitely a method to coupon madness and Angie Klaproth has the answers.

I'll never shop the same again!!! After reading The Great Grocery Giveaway I was amazed with all the info that taught me how to save over a hundred dollars on my grocery bill. My husband loved the savings as much as I did. When I told him how much money I saved he didn't believe me until I showed him my receipt! Not only did I save 50% of my grocery bill as promised in Klaproth's book but I came home with more groceries than ever. The tips on what mistakes to avoid are invaluable. I recommend this book to all my friends!

I received this book as a gift. I love all things frugal and wondered to myself if I would really be able to glean any new information from this book. The answer was "yes"! As the title says, A Step by Step Guide to Creative Couponing, it is just that. Mrs. Klaproth walks you through couponing, step by step.


I read and reread it from cover to cover. I think it is loaded with very good information for those that want to hold on to more of their grocery dollars. I started saving immediately on our grocery bill. Mind you, I already was saving by being frugal. I've heard too many times that coupons really don't save you anything. Well, used the way this book teaches, they sure do. My family is proof of that.
