The Great Interactive Dream Machine,
By Wendy Piha "Peterpan's "mom"" (Naperville, IL United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Great Interactive Dream Machine (Mass Market Paperback)
Weliked this book! We rated it 5 stars because it had a lot of exciting parts where Josh and Aaron got mixed up in this formula... and they changed places and sizes during the computer malfunctions. If you like action and you enjoy computers then this book will really keep your attention. We can't wait to see what happens to the friends next! We hope Richard Peck writes another book with the same characters and problems. ~ T.J.

An Adventure,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Great Interactive Dream Machine (Turtleback School & Library Binding Edition) (School & Library Binding)
At first I did not like this book at all. I thought that it was very boring in the beginning of the book. As it went on, Aaron and Josh had a lot more adventures that were exciting. Towards the end of the book, I couldn't put it down. If you like action and you are interested in computers, I strongly recommend this book. I thought that it was very exciting for a little kid to be able to transport a person from one place to another. I think that it is weird for a kid that is a genius to have a best friend that is not smart at all. At the end of this book, the author led it right to a sequel. I would probably recommend this book to 5th or 6th graders. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book.

Trys to Hard,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Great Interactive Dream Machine (Mass Market Paperback)
The book is good and provides a good story for a rainy day. The thought being able to transport yourself to another place and time with a computer formula and a little willpower, is an intriguing idea. The book is slow to start and the climax of the book takes a while to get to and then it's all over in a couple chapters. All in all, it's not a bad book

The Great Interactive Dream Machine,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Great Interactive Dream Machine (Mass Market Paperback)
If you're a whiz kid who loves computers, technology and weird experiments you'll love The Great Interactive Dream Machine. Richard Peck is a great author who is sure to add lots of details to all his books. This book was very interesting. It's about two best friends named Josh and Aaron. Josh is planning to go to soccer camp in the summer and wants Aaron to go with him. But computer maniac Aaron wants to go to computer camp. So, Josh decides to change a digit in Aaron's formula so Aaron can't get into computer camp. But things go very wrong when Aaron's changed formula turns into The Great Interactive Dream Machine. This book was interesting and kept me reading. It was a fun book that made me laugh, wonder and want more. I give this entertaining book 3 stars. Everyone will enjoy it!

The Great Interactive Dream Machine By: Richard PeckJosh and Aaron are back from "Lost In Cyberspace". "The Great Interactive Dream Machine" is the sequel to "Lost In Cyberspace". So if you liked "Lost In Cyberspace" you will love "The Great Interactive Dream Machine"! Here are some things that are the same. Aaron is still crazy about technology, Josh is still trying to keep Aaron from going totally ballistic about technology, and Aaron created another crazy machine. Here are some events that happened. Josh changed a digit in Aaron's dream machine formula. Also, Aaron is heart broken at the end. Plus, I will give you a hint about the dream machine. It grants dreams. My feelings about this book are, that it's a confusing book. It has a bunch of technology talk that can be complicated. It has some funny parts. I think mature readers should read this book. But overall, I thought this book was good. So get ready for your dreams to come true in "The Great Interactive Dream Machine"! |
