Title could use work
I figured this book would be about different jobs in Sociology. I was disappointed for the beginning. The first 30% of the book was about writing résumés, and searching for jobs. The rest of the book goes over the logical picks for Sociology majors, Teaching, Social work, Management and Research. I felt like I learned nothing new from it and wasted 10 bucks...

Bought this for my Sociology Major daughter, especially since I had also been a Liberal Arts major graduating into a recession. I previewed this book, and thought it had excellent tips on punching up your resume to focus on your transferrable skills. Also great ideas on how to handle interviews. Seemed very well-organized, too.
