This is a wonderful book for the novice interested in wine. In simple, easy to understand language,they tell you where and how to buy wine, how to order it in restaurants, simple recipes on cooking with it, and even how to pair wine with food. A nice gift, too

it is an interesting book - lots of recipes and very brief "advise" chapters - how to pair wine and food and how to order it in a restaurant. it is seriously like 2-3 pages, the rest is recipes. The recipes sound interesting - there are savory dishes and deserts. The book is made with brown paper and it is not colorful neither is pretty really. On other hand you can assume it was made out of recycled paper and feel good about it!
