This is a wonderful collection of old recordings of Rafael Romero. He is one of my all time favorite singers, and this record has many of his best recordings. He is accompanied by the legendary guitarist Perico El Del Lunar. A vital part of any serious collection of Flamenco. This recording is not the watered down, rumbita style so common today, but THE REAL THING.

If you are not a fan but wants to get introduced to flamenco music, the real one but not of the "difficult" type which requires expertise to be appreciated, then this is a superb recommendation. It contains a variety of light, good humoured styles. All of them really fine music.In Brazil we say: "of the kind that is good to one's soul".
