Sublime Humor for Humans,

This slight and ephemeral book is a fond memory to those who tripped over it in the 60s and were immediately charmed by its wistful (and messy) pleasures. Ms. Goulding Smith attempts to help us with a number of projects to amuse and elevate, but is hopelessly inept at a) doing what she tries to do, b) illustrating what it is she tries to do, and c) writing about the things she's not doing very well, if at all. It's that kind of book.
Connoisseurs of the eccentric will enjoy this perfect gesture of noble failure. It still makes me laugh.
