Hidden Treasures In Your Back Yard,

We were looking for "day trip destinations" -- a place to go within reasonable driving distance that was unique. Within days of receiving this book, we visited a family that grows organic lavender within one hour from our home. It was everything depicted in the book, and much more. (One of the products that is produced by hand on this farm is supplied to Marshall Fields in Chicago.) And right down the road, one of the best wineries in Illinois (if not the Midwest). We can't wait to explore more off-the-map locations, festivals, etc.
