The book is about meritime museums (boat and sea). It contains great details to the locations that he visited throughout the midwest, many places I wasn't aware of. It also has details on locations to visit and what available servies are there. The pictures in the book are from the many museums that he visited including snap shots of the boats that are given descriptions very well. The only down thing is that the pictures are in black and white and don't do the pictures justice. The author really did his research and seemed to have visited quite a bit of places. Would recommend this book to those for light reading.
