5.0 out of 5 stars Cool book
I have been trying to get someone to help me pay for racing. All this time I did not know why some guys had more money than me. The Great money Hunt helped me understnd what it takes. Now I have two sponsors and nearly have my whole budget for my regional stock car series. Sam

1.0 out of 5 stars Club racer's review
This book starts off with a lot of promise in terms of what it can deliver but fails to provide a high confidence level in the author or the methodology. The first typo appears in the first ten pages or so, and frequent typos appear throughout the book. Perhaps this is a pet peeve of mine, but I expect a book on marketing and sponsorship to at least get the easy stuff...

1.0 out of 5 stars Club racer's review, February 10, 2000

This book starts off with a lot of promise in terms of what it can deliver but fails to provide a high confidence level in the author or the methodology. The first typo appears in the first ten pages or so, and frequent typos appear throughout the book. Perhaps this is a pet peeve of mine, but I expect a book on marketing and sponsorship to at least get the easy stuff right- like be well written, no typos, and well published. For example, at one point a paragraph appears at the bottom of one page and again on the top of the next. I bought the book to assist my efforts in club and lower level professional road racing. The book is aimed at Indy, IRL or American Lemans level sponsorship packages. It is of little value to the club racer. On the positive side, some of the real-world examples are quite good. Overall, if you are looking for small sponsorships this book will not get it done.

I could never work out why there are so many apparently illogical sponsors in motor racing. What could a pharmaceutical company get from race car sponsorhsip? Then we found this book. Now we get it and using the principle and secrets enclosed we now have sponsorship. Thank you Great Money Hunt.

4.0 out of 5 stars Essential Information, March 10, 2004

We have a small club racing team that was unsponsored. We followed the instructions and now have enough money to add a second car for my son. This was more help than we expected.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor grammar and typos further marr an already questionable resource, April 18, 2006
This review is from: The Great Money Hunt: Without Money, You're Not Racing : An Insider's Practical Guide to Raising Motor Racing Sponsorship (Paperback)
As others have mentioned, grammar and typos undermine your faith in the book immediately. The meat that is to follow is uninspiring.

This author lost all credibilty when he referred to Colin Chapman as Colin Champion. Or maybe I have lost my sense of humor?

5.0 out of 5 stars Vital book if you need money to go motor racing, September 23, 1998
By A Customer
The Great Money Hunt is a step-by-step guide to planning and executing a successful search for sponosrship. I have used the principals to raise the budget our team needs for both 1998 and 1999. I could not have done it without this book.
