Advantage over bags or scoop type containers is you can close the top, great for taking on trips. But the Product Features say "no mess". Not true. If you salt the popcorn, salt can fall out the bottom. I wouldn't advise adding butter. Otherwise they are good.

These boxes are advertised as 1.25 ounce, but were actually .75 ounce. My students were disappointed, but there wasn't time to reorder.

There really isn't anything wrong with these popcorn boxes, except they are a lot smaller than you might expect. We got them for a drive in movie night and were shocked when we opened them. Thy might hold 1-2 cups of popcorn at the most. If that is what you are looking for then, that is great. We ended up using them to just put candy in.
