This is a very nice machine for the price. In the photo it looked wider but it is still large enough. It makes very good popcorn. Cleanup is about a 20 minute job if you like things very clean so its best to use it when you have guests or are using it several times over a weekend. I have left popcorn in it over night and it seems to taste even better the next day. We use coconut oil, flavacol salt flavoring, and ODells butter flavored popcorn topping. With this combination it tastes just like theater popcorn. Everyone in the family just loves it. When we use this machine on movie night it stinks up the entire room and I just love the smell. One caution: When the heat lamp is on there is a heater for the bottom plate that gets very hot. Do not touch it until the light has been shut off for a very long time. For a family the machine is a bit over the top but for large groups you can't go wrong.

i was blown away by the quality of this. for the price, i expected a rickety decoration. what i received, on the otherhand, wax an exceptional quality machine. i opted for a 13mm socket instead of the flimsy wrench provided to ensure a tight fit on the bolts, this was a big help i think. the kettle is a good size, and with only half capacity makes eniugh popcorn to fill 2 tubs. my only gripe is that no popcorn is included. it was a bit of a drag to discover no sample was included, darn it.
