Fair warning, however, about two design points: (1) After several years of use, the top half of the stand on each of our lights broke off and couldn't be reattached. (2) The battery compartment in our existing lights could be opened simply by twisting a quarter in a slot; when we replaced one of them this year, however, we discovered that a very small Philips screwdriver (not included) is now required for the same purpose.
Given that the lights are relatively inexpensive, we will probably continue with them (replacing them as necessary) but thought potential buyers should be aware of these points.
about a quarter of an inch of light bryond the light's cover that sends a piercing light into one's eyes I have temporarily covered it with masking tape until I can find a darker color. I hope that the manufacturer takes note because I'm sure that there are a number of others out there who are looking for a light that will light up their keyboard. Other that the fault mentioned above its exactly what I've been looking for.

How in the heck do you change the battery? Force the top off? Poor light so I am not happy with it anyway. But would love to figure out the battery situation.Published on July 31, 2011 by B. Hudson
This light is nice size and the clip is strong enough to stay in place. Only down side is had to replace the batteries when it arrived. Otherwise, great light for the price. Read morePublished on February 14, 2011 by sr

This was a disappointment., The light quality is poor, best if used in total darkness only. You get what you pay for., I will look for something else. Read morePublished on January 20, 2011 by Jac
