A sensible theory, August 31, 2011
This review is from: The Great Pyramid Prosperity Machine: Why the Great Pyramid was Built! (Paperback)
The Great Pyramid Prosperity Machine is a fine companion volume to the author's previous book, Lost Technologies of the Great Pyramid. Steven Myers has presented a theory about the purpose of the Great Pyramid that makes a lot of sense from an engineering standpoint and solves many of the mysteries surrounding this great structure. The book is written for the layman and those readers who do not have a mechanical or technological mindset can easily understand how this amazing machine worked to pump life-giving water to an arid environment. Forget about Alien Intervention, Mysticism and other esoteric explanations and read about how and why the author's explanation is both possible and plausible. Even considering the time and expense that was required to build this magnificent structure what greater gift could a God-King, the Pharaoh, give to his people than abundant and available water? I recommend this book. It will give you a different perspective on a controversial subject and make you think!

New, Original insights, November 19, 2011
This review is from: The Great Pyramid Prosperity Machine: Why the Great Pyramid was Built! (Paperback)
I was very skeptical when I bought this book. I was expecting something far fetched and New Age-ish, or another claim that the Great Pyramid was a ram pump. What I found when reading this book were some incredible, common sense insights that are completely new. The author's idea is that the Pyramid was a two stage a pump, but not a ram pump. He roughs out, rather convincingly how each stage operated. His ideas make sense of the different features of the Great Pyramid that up to this point seemed pointless or were explained in some hocus pokus, mystical conjecture way . If one has any interest in the mystery of the Great Pyramid then this is a MUST READ book! There are insights, connections and ideas here that I have never run across before. If you crave that "AHA!" moment. If the mystery of what the Great Pyramid is and why it was built is something that has been nagging at your brain then you need to buy this book. By the way, don't be put off by the cover and the title. I think they were an unfortunate choice of the author. This book has nothing to do with investments.

Easily conceivable technology and abundant common sense..., October 11, 2011
This review is from: The Great Pyramid Prosperity Machine: Why the Great Pyramid was Built! (Paperback)
The Great Pyramid is the most studied and surveyed building in the world. No other structure has inspired such wonder and, at the same time, evaded the efforts of scholars to explain how and why it was built. Until Mr. Myers, the logic of the thing seemed to defy imagination. The sober truth is that no orthodox historian has yet advanced any convincing explanation of the great pyramid's construction or purpose. With his two books, Lost Technologies of the Great Pyramid and The Great Pyramid Prosperity Machine, Steven Myers has set right these ageless mysteries. Within these pages, you`re witness to the construction and end-use of the largest and most mysterious monument on earth. It's a fantastic book, crafted to the eye of the reader. Easily conceivable technology and abundant common sense are happy companions, as each paragraph unlocks the mute silence of its stones...
