This is an ideal book for weekly "coffee dates" with your spouse or life partner. The book starts out slowly with the questions gradualy becoming more introspective. Don't be surprised if a question leads you off on to other tangents in your relationship - let it! The answers you give and discover in one another will deepen your relationship and expand your perspective of the one you love.

Our marriage counselor recommended a book like this and after finding it on Amazon it seemed like a good choice. I did not recognize the author's name and it seemed like a good place to start, so I purchased it.

Once I received the book and started perusing it, it became clear that it is a religious book, written from a christian perspective for christian couples. Had I known that I would have picked another, more "secular" book. In hindsight I guess I should have researched the author.

If you're looking for something with a religious twist, then this one is for you. If not, then you'd be better off picking another, similar book. I only wish I had known this - because I now have zero use for this book.

Makes for some great long car ride conversations with my husband! Very happy with purchase!

I thought it may help my non-communicating husband to share... we mainly just laugh about the questions - which is always needed - but It doesn't really give us NEW things to talk about after 31 years of marriage...

we found the questions to be silly or not applicable to us, and we can't think of any friends we would recommend it to.
THe book was also a waste of space because it is one question per page, and they could have fit all of the questions into a booklet less than a few pages.
