Along with some detailed history , each chapter suggests several walking tours or short drives nearby that will round out the tea itinerary quite nicely. Locations include London, Scotland, Bath, the Lake District and more. A handy list of tea room addresses, web sites and phone numbers will help the visitor to plan ahead and make reservations where necessary. Last but not least, a lovely collection of recipes completes the book, with measurements adapted to American standard usage. About the Author
Bruce Richardson is the owner of one of America's favorite tea rooms, the historic Elmwood Inn in Perryville, Kentucky. The writer/photographer/tea merchant is a frequent guest speaker at tea seminars and cooking shows across the United States. Mr. Richardson serves as a consultant to the food and beverage industry, including the British Guild of Tea Shops. He is a contributing writer for TEA magazine and the author of The Great Tea Rooms of America, A Tea for All Seasons, and A Year of Teas.
