I ordered this book for the recipes but they were not good. For starters, the book is meant for large batches, 10lbs or 25lbs of sausage, way too big of a batch for the normal home cook. The other issue was a lot of the ingredients they wanted used were only offered by their online store, such as corn syrup granules and powdered dextrose. The prices online were pretty high for these things... The book was really thick but it just wasn't what I was looking for, I found "Mastering The Craft of Making Sausage" by W.Anderson, is much more user friendly and it is also sold on Amazon, it just doesn't have as many recipes.

Pretty generic info in this book. You can find as much or more online free and by watching some you-tube videos. I would not recommend this book.

This book would be fine if your goal was to make tons of sausage. The home sausage maker would not generally have the tools, the equipment or be able to find the cuts of meat that are used in the book. If your goal is to make 10-25lbs of sausage at a time and to know all the laws dealing with meat processing then you may find this book helpful
