5.0 out of 5 stars best scene book
This is the best scene and monologue book I have found for my 11 and 13 yr olds to practice for acting class. Very contemporary without some of the over dramatics of other scene books. Easy for this age group to understand.

3.0 out of 5 stars "Great" should have more "Fun"
It can't be argued that there are scenes and monologues in this book that are from some truly great plays... but for the most part I would say the subject matter is too heavy. "Great" scenes or monologues for kids would be fun, not depressing. I teach theatre to middle schoolers, and I had a hard time finding material out of this book to use.
