A great overview of the history and ships of the Coast Guard
As with all of the "Great Ships" series this is a great overview of a perticular group of ships. The video presents the history of the coast guard including the USLSS and the Revenue Cutter Service to the present day cutters and boats. I would recommend this title to anyone interested in the Coast guard or military history

Not Really Great.
Coast Guard ships are on duty in all sizes; up to 400-foot plus lengths. This DVD refers only to those up to 110 feet. Incomplete inventory of what the USCG actually sails.

Basically I can only say pretty much the same as Maurice.
Good as far as it goes, but it doesn't come close to covering the entire story. A whole lot of important info was left unsaid, giving a noticeably incomplete picture of the subject matter. This one should have been a two hour show. |
