Saw this show only last week and can't wait to get the cast recording. Dolly did a great job getting this to the stage and the show and the people were wonderful. This show was so good that I can't believe that it was not nominated for best musical. To give a shot to sherk and next to normal and not to 9 to 5 was a slap in the they were sitting around and said we can't have this dolly person come runing in here and all of a sudden nominate this for best musical.........sorry boys she and the rest of the cast were robbed. They really did a great job. Hats off to you Dolly and company.

I saw this show and it seemed longer than the The Norman Conquests entire trilogy...oh how painful.

hi steven, just wanted to tell you that some people didn't care for this show, i don't see the problem...if you liked the movie then you should like the show. I thought it was put together very well and I saw this with 4 other people we all agreed it was a good one. Dolly did a great job with the music and she has said she was going to put out another cd with the songs that didn't make it into the show. I would love to get my hands on that one as well because, these songs are really good I want to hear the ones that got away. Hope you enjoy the cast recording as much as i did in the theater. Do you have Wicked of The Lord of the Rings the musical? They are also wonderful to listen too.

L. Rugletic, yes I do have Wicked and The Lord of the Rings musical. They are both really good recordings. Wicked is one of my favorite musicals. Also, I really liked the movie so I am sure I will like the musical.
