GREAT STORMS OF THE CHESAPEAKE is the perfect book for anyone with an interest in Chesapeake Bay history, extreme weather, and/or compelling true stories. Healey is a gifted writer of nonfiction and fiction, and this latest offering will not disappoint his fans. I plan to stock up on this book for birthday and Christmas gifts for friends and family who live in the Delmarva region.

Well written and researched. I rode out most of the Bay storms mentioned from Hazel to Sandy. Including several Atlantic hurricanes while in the Navy. Descriptions of the storms are accurate. Brought back interesting memories.
