If I need more though, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.....

The hose clogged up so it can only be used once, even though I tried washing it out immediately after using it.

After cleaning up, I stuffed a Brillo pad and another big piece of steel wool into the mouse's entry point.

This product, like all the Great Stuff foams works in the same way. I used it to seal some holes in our house crawlspace vents and up on our roof under the eaves to keep out critters.

You can only use this 1 time. Once you stop using it, the straw basically seals up and you can't get any more out. (They really should make a smaller can of this for smaller jobs or give you more straws) The only problem i have with this is that the straw unscrewed while using it and the foam came out the bottom of the straw. Not THAT big of a deal, but annoying anyway.

After the foam dried, I trimmed it back with a utility knife. So far so good.

I will start off with the good. Fast shipping. Now the bad. This product did not keep mice out like it says on the label. The mice chewed through it like it was candy in less than a day.

This item worked well for me. I had a small gap under the baseboard in one room, someone forgot to put base shoe in. This did the trick. Sealed that gaps and more. Only one thing to keep in mind is it is very sticky and is best used in a single application

The product is easy enough to use- cleans up with acetone nail polish remover, dries firm, etc. But the applicator straw broke halfway through my first use with a brush of my hand. I'm not a large or very strong person.

It seals nicely but you MUST be careful....shake the can, as per the instructions, and note that the applicator is very small which means that you can only cover a small area. And prepare ahead of time. Plan carefully the areas that you're going to cover so that you can move quickly from one area to another otherwise the applicator gets clogged and the remaining can is useless. Good product but lots of room for improvement.

I ended up purchasing a few cans of this stuff at the local hardware store as it was a little more expensive at the time on Amazon. I used it to seal some cracks on the exterior of my home and various areas around pipes underneath the house. For a while we could hear the roof rats climbing in the walls between the bathrooms. I sealed up the holes and like magic, the scratching and noises stopped. I actually used steel mesh and stapled it into place on each of the spots where the rats could climb up and then used the pest block to spray behind the mesh to create a dual barrier.

As other have stated, if you get this stuff on your bare hands or arms, it's a nightmare to get off. Your skin will be stained for the next few days. When I was working with it under my house in a narrow crawlspace, I was very worried that it would drip down onto my face since I was working on my back. It didn't get in my face thankfully, but one thing I wasn't expecting was to spend an hour or so trying to get it out of my hair. lol. Apparently it dripped at some point and I crawled through it while on my back. It ruined my shirt (didn't realize it at the time) and unfortunately, I put my head in a pile of it. It stuck to my hair and hurt like hell getting it out. I think we used olive oil or something similar to loosen it up. Fun times!

Also made the mistake of putting the spray straw in the sink and on the counter. We have a cheap countertop from the 70's and it left a smear mark that won't come off. Same with the stainless steel sink. It left a mark, but I was able to scrape most of it off.

This is a great product and it worked for me, but be careful with handling it.

I have used the regular Great Stuff for general crack sealing, so I convinced my wife that the Pestblock version would stop our apartment mouse from scavenging through the cat food in an under-sink kitchen cabinet. It didn't. The mouse had been less active ever since we completely sealed the cat food off in a plastic container, scratching at the foam once a night or so. The irony is as follows: the mouse didn't gather up the courage to scratch all the way through the foam until we purposely left some cat out exposed to the air...sitting in a Kness SNAP-E trap. Well, the SNAP-E certainly did its job. After cleaning up, I stuffed a Brillo pad and another big piece of steel wool into the mouse's entry point. If any of his family members make it past that, then we'll just move.

Used to seal a crack in my foundation where mice were nesting. Product sealed fine but mice just chewed it up. So much for a pest block. Ended up sealing the crack with cement and hardware cloth.
