I teach a Special Day Class for non-severely handicapped 4th, 5th and 6th graders and am astounded at how easily this book lends itself to almost any area of my day! Many of my students have specific learning disabilities and the graphic organizers in this book are like a gold mine for them! I have watched students go from totally disorganized to turning out work comparable to that of the some of the students at the same grade level in Regular Education programs! Great book! Buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars High School Teacher Loves This Book, November 3, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Great Teaching With Graphic Organizers: Lessons and Fun-Shaped Templates that Motivate Kids of All Learning Styles! (Grades 2-4) (Paperback)
I purchased this book last Spring to try and add some zip to my classes. I teach mainly seniors, and it seems that once the weather gets warm, school ends. I found that these organizers were not only novel and interesting, but helped many of my students recall information that they otherwise might not have. Sure, this book is aimed at a younger audience, but who says that graphic organizers for high school students can only be serious and made out of geometric shapes?
