Robbi has presented to the bride a complete method of setting up every aspect of her wedding. He gives guidelines, worksheets and even interview information for the bride to use throughout her planning process. As a coordinator, I hope all of my brides read this book and then call me to help with execution. Also, from my point of view as a coordinator, there is much to be learned here.

WOW, I bought this book with not so great expectations, but to my pleasure it turned to be one of my favorites books ever. Give practical advices, how to care of details, everything you need to know and how to do it, it's a great book for wedding consultants, (novice or expert) and of course for the bride to be, giving them a practical inside look of everything they have to know to make the wedding a dream wedding... just two words:
BUY IT!

If you are on a mission to plan a fantastic wedding, this is the book to read. This is the 3rd wedding book I have read in the last few months, and by far the most useful! It has great advice on how to get organized and plan the perfect wedding. I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding.

This is by far the best wedding book available. The author is a mega wedding planner and you can tell why after reading the book. My fiance and I both read the book when we first got engaged and loved it! I am the groom and I learned a lot. I went from totally naive to getting a bunch of inside tips on getting the most bang for our buck. It made my involvement in the plans really enjoyable.

I was thrilled when Robbi published this book! As a member of JWI, I know how difficult it can be for a couple to plan a wedding. There are so many things to do and hiring experts for every piece can cost an arm and a leg! I love that this book offers all the great tips that JWI event professionals share with their clients ... in one easy resource book. A couple can save lots of time and money by reading this book. But best of all, it can help ensure that their wedding day is as fun-filled and stress-free as possible! Happy weddings, everyone!

This is a comprehensive instruction book, bringing together Ernst's own considerable background and the collective experience of his industry colleagues. With humor, candor, and detail, this guide will answer questions and provide "insider tips" about how to orchestrate the wedding of your dreams. The book is well-organized and easy to use as a reference; most of all, it "tells it how it is" to plan a wedding.

I've read tons of wedding books over the past 6 years, and Robbi Ernst's guide is one of those that I keep near me since I am in the wedding planning business. He doesn't just have great tips, as the title implies, but also teaches a process and a philosophy for wedding planning that works and will be so helpful for any bride. I wasn't bothered by the JWI references, because I know how reputable the organization is, and I'd rather read something from someone credible and trustworthy than not. Highly recommended!

I think that the modern discriminating bride will get a great deal from this book. She will learn what to look for in her wedding professionals. She will also learn what to stay away from. It has the information that she will need to guide her through a difficult process without the use of a bottle of Valium. It will turn out to be as important a purchase for the outcome of the wedding as was the gown.

I am a wedding planner (eventsbykaren@hotmail.com) and if you aren't using a planner, you are nuts, and if you are and they haven't read this book, they are nuts! All people planning a wedding should read this book. Even if you don't read it and only use it as a reference then you still should buy this book. A wedding is a one shot deal and if you haven't planned one before, trust me, you have NO IDEA what it takes! There is a reason why planners make good money. This is one book that I recommened to all brides, mothers, fiances, and planners regardless of if you are using a coordinator or not.

Before making any decisions concerning the wedding I think every bride should read this book. There is nothing left unsaid as the author has covered every detail before, during, and after the event. And he did it with some humor! He makes it easy to plan a spectacular wedding.
