First things first---a quick check on the band's own website has no mention of this DVD and I think I know why---most likely, the label that issued it (Cleopatra) is not the label Great White is currently affiliated with (Shrapnel). This is probably a "cash in" on the fact that Great White is doing a reunion tour and has a new album coming out so I doubt this has been endorsed by the band, regardless of what the liner notes say. Much like the recent Stephen Pearcy and L.A. Guns DVDs, this one sort of misses the mark. Since no other footage is currently available, you can argue that it is nice to have for that, but the footage itself leaves a bit to be desired. It's certainly live and raw and while I don't want a hard rock band to be all polished up in the studio, this could have stood some sprucing up. It's more bootleg footage than an actual commercial release. It's not unwatchable, but it is lacking in quality somewhat, so just be forewarned that it is not some pristine high def DVD.

As a huge Great White fan I was happy to see them finally put out a concert DVD, it's been a long time coming. My mood changed when I put this on. It's obviusly a bootleg of some kind, looks like a fan took it. The audio and the video are terrible. On a positive note the set list is great for both shows, it's just a shame that this was done so poorly. I've watched this once and would take it back if I could. BEWARE!

though i had read some reviews before i bought that dvd i didn't expect it to be so bad (quality). The capturing and the sound is probably of the worst bootlegs i own.The cover gives you the impression it's an official release but 101% it isn't it.The only good thing is the GREAT WHITE's performance which is excellent..........

I was so happy when I saw the Dvd in my local music shop. Grabbed it, went straight home & loaded the Dvd into my Dvd player. I chose the 5.1 audio setup & pressed play. but to my horrors of horrors, the sound that was coming out from my system was so unbearable to listen to. I know the title of the Dvd is 'Live & Raw' but it can't really be that bad, right? I believe this is a bootleg recording & it's not cheap also. The classic songs are there but you need to have good audio to really appreciate them or it's going to piss you off. So this gets only 1 star from me. Buy at your own risks!!!

Being a big Great White fan I was so fired up to have a DVD concert from these guys, but when I popped it in, what a disappointment.
I can tolerate the hand-held camcorder quality video footage, but the sound? What were they thinking? Why didn't they use audio from the mixing board and dub that over the camcorder sound? That would have been perfect. It should have at least been specified on the packaging that it was an authorized bootleg type thing. Oh well, it's still cool to watch these guys rock out.

This was for sure raw. After recently seeing Great White in concert, i needed to have a live concert of them.Since this seemed to be one of the only ones around i bought it.Despite other reviews not happy with it i was expecting not a very good DVD.This was for sure as if someone in the show had their own camera and took a video. It does not meet todays technical dvd's,but this concert was from the 90's.Based on that it was a good concert with their hits songs. I was happy with the purchase

I have to echo the sentiments of my fellow reviewers here, this is bar none the lowest quality DVD video I have ever seen. I've seen divx rips off the internet that were much better... mind you, this has nothing to do with the band itself, and everything to do with looking and sounding like some fool shot the whole thing with a crummy old home camcorder and plopped it onto a disc. Please avoid this one, it's probably not worth adding to your collection even if it was free.

When I saw this DVD at Best Buy, I was eager to buy it. When I watched it at home, I was immediately in for a huge disappointment! This DVD is of very poor quality in both sound and video. It was obviously filmed by a single person who was just standing out in the crowd, and not even very close to the stage. Don't look for any images of the crowd that were filmed from the stage. There aren't any! Did the band even know they were being filmed? The images are true VHS quality and sort of grainy at times. The sound is cassete tape quality and not digital-worthy at all. I will admit that the songs are good, and the 2 concerts appear to be full lenghth. But what a rip-off!!! I really want my money back, as this DVD is NOT worth the $12.99 sale price. I will be taking this one to the local used music/dvd store. I didn't even enjoy the interview with the lead singer. He had cut his hair really short, and now looks and acts like a worn out "has been" Rocker dude. I feel like Great White's best days have come and gone already. Is there any life left in this band? It is just sad to see a really good band fall apart...slowly. Avoid this DVD. It Sucks!
