I first thought this was going to be a "quick" read, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it was packed with information, well thought out, documented, and down to earth so that anyone could understand and gain form it's messages. I loved the stories of Josh and Tina, and the janitor who made a difference in the hospital. The life philosophies explained by clear real world examples are applicable to all aspects of life and work, and are well worth your time in this book. It's packed with facts and details. There is no fluff in this book! Glad I found it!

Love, love, love this book. I love the stories about regular people who, one person at a time, make a difference. Love and believe in the concepts; but most of all, I love and believe in people who have good hearts, bright minds, and actively take action to make things better for others. Great work O.C. Tanner Institute!

Great Work is one of the best new business books I've read this year. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in shaking up their thinking and firing up the synapses to take a more innovative, fresh perspective to the challenges they face at work and in their personal life. The book is based on a database of millions of employees who were recognized for great work and what they did that made a difference. Great Work teaches how to reframe your role and work with what you've got, which felt really relevant. The author brings the concepts to life with a ton of fascinating stories that show the outcomes of those who dared to see things differently, and what their individual contributions did for their company and their careers. I really enjoyed how the book carried me from story to story, presenting vivid examples of how to apply the ideas that came out of research. There are some really brilliant insights.

This book is very well-researched and flows nicely. Even the appendix, which contains a deep dive into the research, was interesting and informative. It's a great piece of work!

"Great Work: How to Make a Difference People Love" by David Sturt is an interesting book every manager should read. The author speaks about how managers and organizations in general can help their employees to find passion on their work place in order to be more productive.

The book is full of real stories from actual people and how they achieved great results by using five commonly known actions - ask, see, talk, improve the mix, and deliver - but also some other tools and actions every manager is able to implement. When you will read about the achieved results you'll be inspired to at least try to do that for yourself and your organization.

I work as a project manager and must think 24/7 about the people in my team. Moreover my professional destiny and rating of my work depends on their satisfaction and the quality of their work. Due to that I'm trying constantly to have satisfied and productive people in my team, to talk to them and see what can be improved either in environment around us or on the work we are doing. Some of the ideas in the book inspired me to try some new approaches to increase my team satisfaction in order to produce great work, as author called it.

This book somehow is able to turns or improves conventional management thinking resulting in innovations that each of us has in her/himself, but needs help to come to the surface.

"Great Work" is book that can be recommended, the book that will help you to make improvement on yourself and on your environment and help both you and your company to be more happy and productive place to work and live.

Fantastic read. Well put together. Principles many people know but forget to excersize. The depth of research and understanding brings out the true characteristics of what makes "great"

This book is a great book on how to make people in your organization difference makers. There's a difference between someone who likes their job and someone who is passionate about what they do. Mr. Sturt does a great job in this book.

The only negative experience I had was the book was offered with a Amazon gift card which I never received. When talking to the company they claimed they sent it but did not make any effort to find out why I never received it. Regardless the book is amazing.
