This GreatShield EZSeal was, by far, the easiest screen protector to apply to my iPad 2. Some of the screen protectors I've used in the past were InvisibleShield and StealthArmor. I think GreatShield stood apart from the crowd with two key features; you don't need to use a liquid solution during application and you can apply it in mere seconds.

The package arrived in an envelope which contained a microfiber cloth, a sheet of paper with the instructions (1 page), and the GreatShield EZSeal screen protector.

They weren't kidding about it being easy. I applied it in a matter of seconds, less than 30. I spent more time cleaning the screen than applying the protector. Afterward, I spent even more time trying to find a bubble. It took me 20 minutes to apply the StealthArmor. I'm so glad I didn't need to use a liquid solution. The iPad 2 has two water sensors. If you set any of them off, you risk voiding your warranty.

This protector gave my screen a matte look. It makes reading on the bus a whole lot easier. If your iPad doesn't leave the home, then you probably haven't noticed the glare.

It would have been nice if GreatShield sold an EZSeal with a clear border. My white iPad 2 already has a white border.

Even though the instructions said I can remove it, wash it, and reapply it, I don't see myself doing that.

I got mine for $24.99 but that's probably because I pre-ordered it while it was on sale on Amazon.com.

I found this GreatShield product to be extremely easy to apply, with no bubbles, exactly as advertised. It is relatively thick and has a sturdy feel that gives me confidence that it is protecting the screen against scratches.
The only downside is that the matte finish reduces the clarity of the screen somewhat. For most apps this isn't a problem at all - the clarity is more than adequate for reading email, viewing videos, browsing the net, etc. And the matte finish reduces glare if you take your iPad into bright environments, use it for reading on the bus, etc. I think for most people, this screen protector is great.
But for me, one of my main iPad uses is as a convenient display device for examining pictures I have taken with my digital SLR camera. For that purpose, clarity is very important. The difference between the matte screen protector and the plain, unprotected screen is somewhat like the difference between photos printed on matte vs. glossy paper - the matte finish doesn't have as much glare, but it does obscure the finer details and makes it harder to tell if the picture is perfectly in focus. When looking at photos, I really want to see the finest resolution the iPad screen is capable of, and this product diminishes that.
This review isn't meant to be a criticism of the product - it really does what it says. But prospective purchasers should think about the pros and cons of using a matte screen protector and consider whether it really meets their needs.

I have used over a dozen different screen protectors (for iPod, iPhone, iPad) and this is by far the easiest one I have used. it was so easy to apply, as it literally only took about 20 secs. I usually take my time, and use a credit card to get rid of the bubbles, but with this GreatShield EZseal, there was NO NEED! The holes lined up perfectly and the best part about this is that you can't even tell there's a screen protector on. Great work to team behind GreatShield, I will definitely buy their other products!
