Chris Holaday is also the author of Professional Baseball in North Carolina: An Illustrated City-by-City History, 1901-1996,(1998, $35, winner of The Sporting News-SABR Baseball Research Award). Marshall Adesman is president of the North Carolina chapter of SABR. They both live in Durham, North Carolina.
