About the Author

Stephen Vincent Brennan has worked as an actor, director, book editor, teacher, cabaret artist, and playwright. He is now an actor and director with the Theater Wing of the Kaufman Center in New York City, where he lives with his wife, his daughter, and his son.

This book was a great success as a gift for a lover of Western history. Truly a good read for those who enjoy learning, and more importantly, feeling part of our country's early days, and being drawn into the life of the cowboy.

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning what life was like as a cowboy in the Western Frontier Days.

I actually got this for my nephew for Christmas and the whole family are enjoying it... It has some of the great old cowboy authors and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting authentic cowboy tales.
