This is a cute book illustrating how we use division in our everyday lives without even thinking of it. Many examples are explained including sharing a one beverage with two friends ie, dividing one beverage into three glasses, one for each of the two friends plus one for yourself. Other examples of sharing or demonstrated. Another example I liked shows how a group of children can work together to earn money and divide the money evenly. It is an excellent explanation of division for children just learning division for the first time. It also implicitly reinforces the teaching of sharing and cooperation which children would have learned at younger ages. The Illustrations are also charming. Very cute book.
