Rascal Flatts fans who buy the group's Greatest Hits Volume 1 when it comes out Oct. 28, will get something extra. Early shipments of the set will come as a two-disc package that contains not only 13 singles, but also three Christmas standards. The group has been in a Nashville studio. "We've dropped the temperature, set a little Christmas tree out on the countertop," says bassist Jay DeMarcus. Arranger David Campbell worked with the band on White Christmas and Jingle BellRock. Former Take 6 member Mervyn Warren arranged a vocal rendition of I'll Be Home for Christmas. "It's the first a cappella thing that we've done," DeMarcus says. "It's three voices. You'll be able to pick them out. We're going to pan Joe Don (Rooney) to one side, me over to the other, and Gary's (LeVox) straight up the middle. You'll hear three Rascal Flatts voices, nothing else dubbed."

Rascal Flatts is a great band and this album
is one of the best greatest hits albums ever
not to mention cd's. The pop/rock/country duo
have over a dozen great songs on it from most
of their cds and albums previous to this one
maybe even all of them. The songs are well
written and very emotional at times. Gary does
a great job singing and belting out the well
written songs and the other members of the band
including Joe Don and Jay do an amazing job playing
thier instuments as well and sounds great.

Overall a must have album for any body who loves
music ;)

This greatest hits collection contains thirteen songs from the Rascal Flatts' first four albums. Consisting of catchy tunes and heartfelt lyrics, the mix of ballads and fast moving gems makes this one enjoyable album---one that you will want to listen to over and over !

Of course, like everyone else that got married around the time "God Bless the Broken Road" was released, I chose this timeless tune for my wedding. So,when Rascal Flatts came out with this Greatest Hits CD, I had to have it. LOVE IT! I have purchased it many times over for gifts.
