What a time to be alive. I remember in 1971 driving around in my buddys Dodge Charger listening to the song Use Me. It was a great song and still is, and there are many others on this album that will live forever as well. Ain't no Sunshine When She's Gone, Sunny Day. Hey, if you like a smoother dreamier MoTown type sound, even if you never heard this album before, pick it up!

This is a super compilation of Bills great hit songs. I bought it on the basis of the song list alone. Quality is outstanding. I've probably played this at least 50 timews since it arrived. Highly recommend to any Bill Whithers fan.

A great CD for anyone who appreciates Bill Withers' music.
This CD contains 7 of his best known songs.
Truly soulful music.

Bill Withers is a master of song writing and has the best voice. This CD is great for road trips because you know all the songs and want to sing along with it. Aint No Sunshine is just the tip of the iceberg on this guy's greatness. Listen to Use Me, Just the Two of Us, Grandma's Hands, and of course, Lovely Day and Lean on Me. So many people have tried to cover Withers's songs, but no one can compare to the original. I would love it if he got back in the recording studio. Every month I hope that he is going to be the guest on Live From Daryl's House.

this is a must-have if you're a Bill Withers fan, and an enjoyable dvd even if you're not. Withers' story is fascinating: how an aircraft toilet maker became a superstar - and he did it his way. For those who may not recall, he wrote and performed several of the biggest hits of the 1970s: "lean on me", "ain't no sunshine", "use me up", etc. This is his story - musically and personally.

Mr. Bill Whithers is now touted for his enormous contributions to soul, R & B and soft jazz. His greatest songs are all here!

This is a wonderful CD for Withers' fans. Transaction went very smoothly and I received it in a very timely manner.

Bought this for "Ain't No Sunshine" (which we loved in "Notting Hill"). Was happily surprised to hear so many great songs, many of which I recognized but never realized had been sung by Bill Withers.

Still not sure why Withers isn't known like Marvin Gaye or Issac Hayes.

I absolutely love Bill Withers, and did not re-discover him until GAP came out with the 'Lovely Day' commercials. His music is so soulful and earnest. His voice coupled with the music touched me deeply! I suggest this compilation (as well as any others you can find)! Today's music can NEVER touch his heartfelt lyrics/music.
