5.0 out of 5 stars Good Idea. . .
I've been a Bone and chopped n screwed fan for a while but it never occured to me to have a Bone chopped album but honestly this is hard! Michael Watt's is the only one that coulda made it turn out like that. It just gives these already classic songs another way of hearing and enjoying them. I suggest ya'll swoop it up. . .

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok Cd, Bone still Bone
This cd is a decent colaberation of bpne thugs n harmony's greatest hits, i like chopped and Screwed , but when bone is on it, it just doesnt sound right, bone is a fast pased rapid fire rap group, and its just not their style to do chopped and screwed. so all in all if your a big bone fan, get this cut, if not, dont waste your dollars.

Peace, god bless...

5.0 out of 5 stars Bone Thugs + Dj Michael "5000" Watts = Perfect Combination!, May 15, 2006
This review is from: Greatest Hits: Chopped & Screwed (Audio CD)
This cd is off the chain! I'm a big fan of "screwed n chopped" music, I have almost every Swishahouse CD known to man, lol. It was a definite plus that Swishahouse decided to team up with my favorite rappers of all time, Bone Thugs N Harmony! This is a definite buy if you like "screw" music, and you're a fan of Bone Thugs. To all you haters out there that dont like screw music, DONT LISTEN TO IT! Michael Watts, you too throed, KEEP SHAKIN' THEM HATERS OFF YOU FOLK! Also, to my kinfolk that wrote that post earlier saying that his second cd wasnt done by Michael Watts, YOU GOT SLOPPED UP, AND NOT CHOPPED UP! Stop jamming them bootlegs cuz! :)

3.0 out of 5 stars misleading as ****, get it just for the first disc(No Watts on disc 2), March 24, 2006

I just got this album and I have to tell everyone only the FIRST DISC is done by Michael Watts!

First disc: 5/5

The first disc is outstanding. I've been a fan of Micheal Watts since Before da Kappa 2000, I stopped listenin to Swisha house since 2003.. also I grew up listenin to Bone, so when I heard Michael Watts was screwin and choppin a greatest hits album, I had to get it. He's the **** when it comes to this stuff, and this disc shows it.

Second Disc: 1/5

This part is just ****ed up. They claim this whole album is done by Michael Watts, but anyone who knows Michael Watts can tell this was NOT done by him. First thing when I loaded the cds up, the first disc came up on my wmp with all songs listed like:

Track 01, Track 02, and so on. It didn't know the name of the tracks, while the second one it did recognize them.

Then when I started listening to the songs, I noticed that the tracks weren't really chopped well, and I scimmed through and it didn't take long for me to realise this was done by an amateur DJ. He even tries to play it off like he's Michael Watts by doing his patented 'bring it back 3 times', but he fails in his attempts to make it sound good.. its very evident in "Look into my eyes". It sounds very nasty.

Disc 1 was done Michael Watts style like he does with his old mixed cds. Like a song can carry over to the next song, like the end chorus to Notorius Thugs continues to the next track, Thug Luv, so you hear a little bit of that song fading away while Thug Luv starts at the same time, and its TYTE! And you got Michael Watts saying SWISHA HOUSE to let ya know.

Also worth mentioning is the track list is not accurate either, songs on the list are not in that order at all.. I don't care about that at all, but what sucks is they tried to act like both discs are done by Michael Watts. The second disc has some tracks that would have been amazing with Michael Watts.

My only theory to why Michael Watts didn't do the whole album is that they only had enough money to have Michael Watts do the first disc, so they found some sorry ass piece of **** wannabe piss poor dj to ruin the album(or atleast the 2nd disc). And to his credit, he did an EXCELLENT job. Now I wish he'd take that 2nd disc and jump off a roof top with it so he never plagues the world with this kind of trash again. Don't get me wrong either, I'm not just upset that the 2nd disc was done by a different DJ, I'm pissed because that DJ did a horrendous job. Had he done better, I would have let it slide.

I would've given this CD 0 stars, but I can't. I am a hardcore Bone Thugs fan, but this album truly ruins their name. I know its an unauthorized release, but they definitely shouldn't have released a 'Chopped and Screwed' album on Bone's greatest hits. They should've left the Greatest Hits album alone. This is definitely a waste of money, and should be left on the shelves at your CD store.

2.0 out of 5 stars U might not want this unless you like......, November 18, 2005
This review is from: Greatest Hits: Chopped & Screwed (Audio CD)
You may not want this CD unless you like Screwed and Chopped music, and you don't care what it is, just as long as it is Screwed and Chopped. Now Michael Watts does a pretty good job on the turntables, but the selection stinks!! It probably has to do with Tamika Wright picking the music. I cannot give it my usual Lyrics and Beats review because these are greatest hits, but I can say that I never liked the song with Phil Collins at the normal beat, so why do I want it slow?! Speed that crap up and get it over with. If you are a true Bone fan and like screwed and chopped, get it, otherwise, you're not missing much.

There are alot of good songs on this cd!!! thats why its called the "Greatest Hits"!!! but to make it even better DJ Michael "5000" Watts, choppes and screws it!!

I think this isone of the good cd's that have been chopped and screwed! And im from the south so ive known about swisha house and Dj Screw before MTV made it all big!
Dont get me wrong, I like the fact that the SOUTH has finally blown up! but people like nelly (Grillz by Paul Wall) sound really annoying screwed!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - Greatest Hits: Chopped and Screwed, March 31, 2006
This review is from: Greatest Hits: Chopped & Screwed (Audio CD)
This CD is garbage. I am from Cleveland and have grown up on BT-N-H for the better part of my 24 years. Never have I been disappointed in any of their group or solo CDs (Bizzy came close with his Heaven'z Movie, but I liked a few tracks), and NEVER...NEVER! would I have thought that a purchase of one of their CDs (mix or not) would be the biggest disappointment in music I have ever experienced. Maybe it's because I'm an amateur hip-hop fan and didn't realize that "chopped and screwed" meant that the music would be slowed to the pace of a midget running track with vey little mixing involved. Anyone who listens to Bone knows that, aside from their great lyrics, the thing they do best is clearly sing their lyrics very FAST with great harmony among all the members. To anyone thinking of buying this album with the delusion that you will get the same bone songs with fresh beats and new twists - don't waste your time. Of course, if you're a big fan of this "chopped and screwed" stuff, by all means go for it. So, if you appreciate Bone the way I do, go buy the Chamillionaire CD and play "Ridin" (ft. Krayzie Bone) on loop and listen to it all day long, every day. I'm sure you'll get just as much entertainment out of that as the "Chopped to Pieces and Screwed Up" album.
