The epitomy of britpop, July 2, 2000

If it weren't for people like the happy mondays and the stone roses at the end of the 1980's and start of the 1990's then we would never have people like oasis, supergrass and all the other 'britpop'/ indie bands now. Music lovers never seem to realise where it all started, they believe that bands like oasis are original and took no inspiration from anywhere else. This band helped oasis get to where they are now so all i can say to music fans is to buy this CD and learn where it all started, also buy the stone roses and then you will truely know what 'Madchester' is.
