A Good Showcase of Their Style & Attitude,

I liked listening to Dr. Hook when they were at the peak of their popularity. Their sense of humor and irreverence constituted so much of their appeal. That attitude shines through on several of the songs on this album. While I don't enjoy every single song, there are enough that I really do like to make it well worth the price.

I had the cassett when they were in, and after many years, I went to the eye doctor, who was not "young" anymore (and neither am I), who reminded me of Sylvia's Mother, and he started to sing for me. It was a real pleasure, and I'm so glad I found this on Amazon, and am now able to listen to the CD. We grow old, but our music is everlasting. Thank you.
