Each time I play this CD, it makes me want to step back in time and watch URBAN COWBOY. It makes me want to put on my boots, hat, leather and turquoise. Many may not remember or even know, but Johnny Lee was actually in URBAN COWBOY. Singing "LOOKIN' FOR LOVE," and "CHEROKEE FIDDLE." The movie URBAN COWBOY was based on fellow musician/actor/night club owner Mickey Gilley's club. So one day I guess I was a PRISONER OF HOPE, LOOKIN' FOR LOVE, and lookin' for the Cowboy era to return. But those days are basically gone with the fools that CHEROKEE FIDDLE'd in the middle of the stations and todays Mainstream Country taking over the airwaves. So I guess I was PICKIN' UP a STRANGER when I picked this CD, it's a ONE IN A MILLION but it'll BE THERE FOR ME BABY, if you BET YOUR HEART ON ME, this CD also SOUNDS LIKE LOVE, WHEN YOU FALL IN LOVE. But hey, don't forget to yell HAY BARTENDER when you want that drink. And don't forget to buy this Johnny Lee CD. it's good!!

This has all Johnny's hits, but I would've omitted Hey Bartender for I think it sounds too rock n roll for the overall theme of this album.

This makes great interstate highway music...reminds me of pick-up trucks, and '80s TV series i.e The Fall Guy.

I was looking for the Urban Cowboy CD but this was better. If you liked "Looking For Love In All the Wrong Places," this CD simply adds more great songs, many of which I did not know were Johnny Lee hits.

Apparently Johnny Lee had a short career, however if you like "Picking up Strangers", you should like all of these. Roy
