I grew up on freestyle, so trust me and don't buy this cd. I bought one and is rerecorded and does not sounds good. I thought it was the original but it was not. I don't know why artist resing there old songs when is not going to sound the same as before cause from time to time your voice changes. So try finding it on limewire or ask a dj you know to copy one for you.

ps: I'm a dj and a music producer.

This CD is cleary being advertised as a Greatest Hits CD with "Original Recordings Remastered". That is not true! The term "Original Recordings" means the actual recordings that were played on the radio back in the day, and heard on the original singles and albums. This CD DOES NOT contain those original recordings that were heard on the radio. These are NEWLY-RECORDED versions, with new vocals, and new music tracks. (Some people may choose to call them RE-MIXES, but either way, they are new versions and not the originals). Although the new recordings do sound very good, this CD is seriously deceiving to customers. Even on the CD itself, it does not state anywhere that these are re-recorded versions. Therefore, I must give the CD a low rating, because it is not being accurately described.

Judy Torres has done and is still doing more for Freestyle Music then her songs ever could. She has promoted our music endlessly and in my opinion I see and feel it has grown in popularity. I am thankful for her efforts as should all Freestyle Freaks. She still performs, with a smile, all over the NYC area and the new crowd loves her and associates her with Freestyle Music in a different way then I do. Even my small 10 year old buddies know her voice and music and I even still dance with them in the summer. And I love it and Thank God I still can .
I seen her perform over 20 years ago and I became obsessed with her strong and sexy vocals. Wow , it is nice to reflect back on that visual as I type.
I read other review's and I was disappointed to see the CD take a bad rap.
Freestyle Freaks we are and we are tough to please. Can't please everyone.
Judy Torres is responsible for many of the other Freestyle Cd's that we all do have but not everyone bothers to read about who put effort into it. Judy put the energy, unsung it may be,although I am here now to sing that side B song. The unknown which is now known. THIS IS NOT FINE PRINT.
Somehing else I would also like to add, and Judy herself would approve , that I/WE , TIP MY/OUR TOP HAT to the many other Freestyle singers who also still perform and promote the Music..

Thes are competely NEW recordings, not rtemixes and they sound wonderful. If you dig Judy, you'll dig this record.
