I adore Linda Eder and I have every album she's ever released. She just gets better and better as the years go by and I really do think she's 'touched the gold' so to speak. Her voice is one of the greatest there is and, as this CD clearly shows, she has one HECK of a catalogue.

That being said, I really don't care for the 'remastering' done here. I do not subscribe to the lazy, "boost the volume, tweak the EQ, compress the life out of everything and swim everything in reverb" style of remastering, and that is exactly what has been done here. I find this CD unlistenable.

But, it's Linda and I'm going to keep on supporting her career and it's always interesting to read what she has to say about each song, as you can in the liner notes to this CD.

Linda Eder is vocally gifted and can perform many different styles of music. There are a few collections of her music out there already but this one is quite impressive with the song selection and the great price. The selections are culled from IT'S TIME, IT'S NO SECRET ANYMORE, BROADWAY MY WAY and JEKYLL AND HYDE. Even if you have these albums this collection is a must have. The best tracks are selected from each cd, the remastering is superb and the order the songs are in provide for a very satisfying listening experience.

The highlight for me is the inclusion of BRING ON THE MEN from JEKYLL AND HYDE. I have never heard it before and it blows me away. Other standouts are the Broadway tunes DON'T RAIN ON MY PARADE, SOME PEOPLE, I AM WHAT I AM and UNUSUAL WAY. From her solo cds we have the mezmerizing HAVANA, VIENNA and SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN. Whether belting a Broadway tune or caressing a tender ballad all are performed with sincere emotion and amazing vocal range. There is a definite purity to Linda Eder's voice. She is a natural talent who can expressively tackle any kind of music.

A definite must have.

I make a point of seeing Linda live every chance I get. This greatest hits is overdue and a great compilation of favorites - songs that only appreared once on older records show up here - great "first taste" if you have never purchased one of her CDs.

The best singer I've ever heard and seen live. She's charismatic, has the most fantastic voice and she's absolutely beautiful and a warm friendly person.

Linda Eder is a fabulous Broadway, Pop singer. She has a voice that combines Streisand and Dion. Fabulous CD.

Linda is flawless and this is a great collection, but if you're a Linda fan you already have all these songs... I'm really surprised she didn't record at least ONE new song - that's really how they're doing these greatest hits compilations these days. Regardless, she's one in a million - don't miss a chance to see her live.

This Women is wonderful. What a Voice and fantastic in person. We love her.

Linda does an admirable job on all the show tunes. They are almost all very high-energy songs and she knocks the ball out of the park every time. And this is precisely the problem; I found that much intensity song after song after song got really old fast. I suppose my quarrel is with the production aspects of the CD. Bad purchase on my part.

Wonderful choise of songs and each one is special. Will wear this CD out.

I first heard Linda Eder on a PBS station over the Christmas holiday. I was so impressed that I ordered a CD. I will be ordering more in the future. I am a fan!
