5.0 out of 5 stars From the first time... January 22, 2014
A small lad of 14 or 15 riding to a duck pond in Atlanta to go fishing. He had a transistor radio on am and heard this lady singing Rose Garden - probably about 1972. Since then: I have every album she released, on both Chart and Columbia. I have also purchased all her Cd's, whether they just have different artwork or compilations with just one or two different songs. I saw her in person in the early 1980's in a concert nightclub setting, got to talk to her and took breathtaking 35 mm photos. I have this original release CD. I don't listen to it very often but other compilations. So that when I die this one will be the one they play Rose Garden at my funeral and will be one of the objects I am buried with - and yeah, you can take it with you. Just ask for a bigger coffin or a bigger hole. Pile it in - they will sell it or give it away - but will they keep it? This is a keeper and I would give it 20 stars if I could.

3.0 out of 5 stars better then, then now June 26, 2013
I did not have this original record I had the Rose Garden record and On Top Of The World. I bought this cd in 1981 and pretty much knew all the songs. Rose Garden is the main song on here. It also has How Can I Unlove You, Listen To A Country Song and the rest of the cd is good. But this is one of those albums that as time goes by doesn't hold up that well. It seems dated. I'm glad it's on cd. And I wish they would release Greatest Hits vol. 2 on cd.
