Lots of classic greats, some songs from live albums, and new songs never heard before, two of which were penned by Engelbert himself along with his daughter Louise.

This one of 5 Enge cds that I listen to every night as I go to sleep. The older Enge gets the better his voice becomes. This is a must listen to with headphones. The best song that Enge has done is "Can't You See" If I had only one Enge song to listen to it would be this one. Use headphones for a "Totally Amazing" experience of Totally Amazing, the
sound effects are great. As much as I like the more popular songs the less heard ones are the best.

What a wonderful find! His opening song on the website played one of these songs and it brought me to this site to make the purchase (Thank God) Wonderful to listen to and Ive played it over and over! His voice simply got better with time........Easy listening to such a beautiful voice! Truly one of a kind.......Will wait for more soon............Hopefully a new dvd !! Love your site!!

So many different songs to showcase the unbelievable endurance of the musical ability of this incredible talent. Engelbert's personalization of every song he sings, together with his musical sense of phrasing, and tuneful, heartfelt delivery of beautiful lyrics makes for wonderful listening. Plus, he throws in a mix for fun! A perfectionist of his art with a voice that keeps calling us back.

Excellent CD at an exceptional price. Listening to Engelbert never gets old. I am only 45 and really enjoy his music. Most people my age do not even know who he is. Easy listening and very relaxing.

For me, the Engelbert Humperdinck's GOLD 2CD set on Hip-O Records/Universal Music label from 2005 release is a much better choice in terms of sound quality and total hits songs.
This 40th anniversary edition actually is Asian edition. Mine was made in Malaysia. It is on Universal Music label as well.
My main concern is that Sound quality is very poor. I think it was mastered straight from the LP master, not from original master tape.
This is a 2CD set and packaged in all-rounded-four-corner jewel box which usually used to keep Super Audio CD. It is called Super Jewel Box. Mine came broken, and it is hard to find its replacement in aftermarket store. Need to special order it from a specialty jewel box store, and it is expensive too. The discs were stacked one on top of the other.
For your money, better buy the EH's GOLD album instead of this 40th anniversary one.

Great CD just as they all are! Includes some different ones I had not heard before. Awesome singer!

I agree with Mumsey163 and finally found an album with "Can't You See" which I hope he performs in his show we see every year. Other favorites "To Beautiful To Last" (Theme from Nicholas and Alexandra), "She", "My World" (Il Mondo), "Stand By Me" and so many more on this CD. Worth every penny. Great selection of old and new.

Engelbert GOLD is by far the best CD i've found on him for showcasing his range and catalog of good songs but this one is not bad either. It actually is similar to GOLD except a few good ones are left out and a few different good ones are added in.
Beside some of his classics he includes his version of Love Letters, Stand by Me, How to win Your Love It's All in the Game, Your Love Stays with Me and all are sung great. A mixture of the old and the new- you can't go wrong with this CD.

I am unable to purchase products by this artist in Australia and I find your service excellent.

The latest cd I purchased is the best yet. May Engelbert and Amazon keep the good times coming
