4.0 out of 5 stars Anything by the Paris Sisters is worth hearing.
I was aware that this didn't have the original version of their Spector hits, but I once had this on vinyl and it was still great to hear it in such high quality. It was shipped quickly and arrived in excellent condition.

3.0 out of 5 stars Re-recordings
This CD looks like a greatest hits collection, but doesn't contain the original hits. These recordings are taken from a Sidewalk label album (misleadingly titled "Golden Hits of the Paris Sisters") recorded circa 1967. Aside from the re-recordings of their earlier hits, there are a few new songs here, including some that Priscilla Paris wrote. The CD is a good value...

The CD is a good value for serious fans, but it can't compare to the group's Gregmark hits and their album "The Paris Sisters Sing Everything Under the Sun."

With the exception of "I Love How You Love Me" and "Be My Boy" I found the other tracks very forgettable. Even Lennon/McCartney's classic "Yesterday" sounds like last minute LP filler. I'm sure there much be many more original Paris Sister tracks in the vaults that would make for a much better "Best of" tribute. Bottom line is that I can't help feeling shortchanged even after paying only 5 bucks.

The only song I really wanted off this CD was "I Love How You Love Me". The other songs were pretty awful, simply because they weren't my style. :) I'm not so old that I remember ever hearing these songs on the radio, just the one I mentioned.

Also, the CD case arrived cracked in 3 places, yet the disc appeared fine and played well.
