The Swinging Blue Jeans had some big hits in the UK and some minor ones in the US. Their big hit was "Hippy Hippy Shake." They came out and had the pretty much the same style as the early Beatles. In the US, you'd say they were part of the British Invasion. It's all high-powered rock n roll in early sixties style. They give new life to some old favorites, e.g. 'Good Golly, Miss Molly,' 'Long Tall Sally,' and 'Lawdy Miss Clawdy.' If you like music from the early/mid sixties, you need this CD and with 25 songs, you really get your money's worth.

Should have just had their complete first L.P. and a few other choice picks from their other albums. Nice to have! Angie nice and Shakin' songs!
