This collection of Pat's spiritual songs was purchased for one of the hymns on the CD. His voice is often golden and warm, at rare times strained and nervous.The hymn that I purchased the CD for was all too brief and failed to capture the urgency of the composer's plea.

In an effort, I suppose, to update these classics, Pat Boone has changed "thee" and "thine" to "you" and "yours" wherever possible in these hymns, making them sound awkward. (Case in point: the hymn entitled "I Need Thee Every Hour" is sung "I Need You . . ."!)
