If you are like me, and liked this band but never got to see them live, then ABSOLUTELY keep an eye out for this CD. In addition to a selection of the best tracks from their two studio CD's, there are 5 live cuts that are just amazing. They do a couple covers live: Badfinger's "No Matter What", Wing's "Jet" and "Let 'Em In" as an intro to the original "That is Why". They also do live versions of "The King is Half Undressed" and "Now She Knows She's Wrong". Really great stuff. I hope that this holds me over until I finally get my wish: that they regroup, record and tour again!

I was fortunate enough to see Jellyfish live during their Bellybutton tour and I can verify that as awesome as the live songs on this compilation are...they cannot begin to capture the incredible experience that concert was.

For those who weren't as fortunate I suggest listening to this CD for a small glimpse of a band that was said to be one of the top five live acts in the world.

The fact that this band never recieved public acceptence proves the old saying "the masses are a**es". Jellyfish revive the wimsical production values of the Beatles and Brian Wilson with such ease that one would think the word "retro" was invented just for them.This collection is a must have!

Finally a greatest hits package from one of the more deserving bands of our time. The hits are enough but to hear a cover of Badfinger's "No Matter What" makes this another masterpiece

Unfortunately, this album, the ep and the two studio albums are the only "offical" stuff out there. Really, guys you should consider getting back together--Jellyfish was something special. San Francisco misses you!

Jellyfish is simply the most underated band in history....this C.D. proves it.

Jellyfish "The Greatest" captures Jellyfish at their very best. From tracks like "New mistake" and "Baby's coming back" to the Live versions of "Jet" and "The King is half Undressed" is just the beggining of this excellent compilation. If your a Jellyfish fan, you'll want this CD in your collection.

Jellyfish is awesome, as are the Grays. That is all.
