It's great to see one of the best party bands coming out with a CD of their greatest hits with a few newer songs. This CD comes packed with some of the great beer drinking songs from "Blackout In The Redroom" along with at least one song from Love/Hate's next three releases. If You think these songs are the orginals burned onto one CD then you are wrong. All the older songs were re-recorded in Gilby Clarke's (Guns n' Roses) studio. The songs sound as if they were recorded in one or two takes, giving them an almost live feel. The last three songs are real studio produced songs. They are taken directly from Love/Hate's "Living off Layla" with was only available directly from Skid until now. This CD is a great addition for anyone who ever listened to Love/Hate back in the early 90's. It gives you a fresh look at some of their classics along with a few songs you might have never heard before.

This cd is okay. The 'Spinning Wheel' is the greatest song. The other songs are good if you really like this band.

I admit, i added a star because i am a huge fan from way back. I like the rawness offered with these re-makes, but they did sound better before. This is for the die hards who cant get 'Blackout' anymore or grew unfamiliar with their latter material. Its a good collection.
Again, the originals sound better, and all their stuff up to 'Layla' is worth getting anyway. So if you see the original 'Blackout' or 'Wasted; cd's, buy those. If not, buy this and realize that the only reason they were re-recorded is because the band didnt own the original masters. The songs are cool, the sound is raw and the band was great.
