Amazing,
This was an amazing book. This was the greatest person in the history of mankind. He even today changes lives without his being physically present. If you want to have the veil of illusion lifted about this world. If you want a life full of meaning. Have you ever turned the corner and come upon an idea whose time has come? Great movements often choose small vessels as its tools. Get this book, it will lift your eyes to the wonder that this world has to offer. You have everything you need but one thing, madness, for without madness you will never dare cut the rope and be free. This book will set you free.

THE WATCHTOWER' S VERSION OF A "LIFE OF JESUS",
By
This review is from: The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived (Hardcover)
This 1991 publication of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (Jehovah's Witnesses) is of the 4"x6" format they favored for most books since the 1960s, but with many more pages. It is lavishly illustrated. With an initial pressing of 4,000,000 copies, it was intended for wide distribution.
Here are some quotations from the book, that often illustrate distinctive doctrines of the WBTS: "Jesus never claimed to be God, but he acknowledged that he was the promised Messiah, or Christ. He also said he was 'God's Son,' NOT GOD." (First section) "For 6,000 years now, humankind has been suffering laborious enslavement under Satan the Devil, with violence and war being the order of the day." (#31) "After warning the crowds about covetousness, and cautioning his disciples about giving undue attention to material things, Jesus ... reveals that only a relatively small number (later identified as 144,000) will be in the heavenly Kingdom. The majority of the ones who receive eternal life will be earthly subjects of the Kingdom." (#78) "(T)he clergy of Christendom in this 20th century have, by reason of their positions and responsibilities, been 'first' to be hired for work in God's symbolic vineyard. They considered dedicated preachers associated with the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society to be 'the last' ones to have any valid assignment in God's service. But it is, in fact, these very ones, whom the clergy despised, who received the ... honor of serving as anointed ambassadors of God's heavenly Kingdom." (#97) "The extended delay of the bridegroom indicates that Christ's presence as ruling King is to be in the distant future. He finally comes to his throne in the year 1914." (#111) "'Truly I tell you today,' Jesus replied, 'You will be with me in Paradise.' This promise will be fulfilled when Jesus rules as King in heaven and resurrects this repentant evildoer to life on earth in the Paradise that Armageddon survivors and their companions will have the privilege of cultivating." (#125)
